Foundation and Early Success (Over 25 Years Ago)
Was found over 25 years ago by the group of engineers who were specialized on Variable Speed Drives (VSD) applications and convinced that our Thai engineers are capable to design, assemble, install and commissioning the VSD applications as good as foreign engineers but with much cheaper cost and greater flexibility in providing services to industrial customers and it has successfully been proven as it took CPT about a decade from an establishment to become the leading electrical system integrator for Sugar Industry whose production processes are complex having both continuous and discrete manufacturing process which consume a lot of power and Sugar mill is typically operating with Bio Mass Power plant where excess power is exported to Utility grid.
Comprehensive Industrial Solutions
CPT’s capability therefore encompass VSD application, power distribution, power quality solution including control and SCADA system, right from design/engineering stage, assemble, installation and commissioning of the entire industrial plant.
Vertical and Horizontal Expansion
Since then CPT has continuously grown and expand its capability vertically and horizontally, namely CPT undertook the first turnkey 115 KV Substation and successfully delivered in 2010 while invested in its own factory to manufacture medium, low voltage switchgear, variable speed drive as well as control and SCADA panels in order to provide industrial customers with one stop service by our own resources from design through life cycle services.
International Recognition and Public Listing
Along with portfolio’s expansion, CPT also entered into export markets with various successful installations and became internationally recognized corporation.CPT became publicly listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2017 and set its vision to become 'Top class electrical power and control system solution provider for industries with optimized technology, cost effective and excellent service support.'
Strategic Partnerships and Diversification
CPT signed license agreement with Siemens for complete line of medium and low voltage switchgear and also invested in the second switchgear factory in line with its vision. Since then, CPT has diversified its market coverage to various industrial sectors, commercial complex as well as government infrastructure projects.
Proud Achievements and Commitment
At almost 3 decades of our commitment and determination, we are proud to say that CPT is one of local leading electrical power and control solution providers with solid track records. CPT has successfully completed over 30 turnkey 115 KV Substation for MEA, PEA and private customers. Our switchgear factories have delivered several thousands of MV, LV, Drives and Control panels to various industries based on our own design and type tested switchgear under Siemens’s license.
