The new generation will be a driving force for Thailand’s industries in the decade ahead, as the energy sector faces major change — the growth of renewable energy, Data Centers, and Automation systems — all of which require electrical systems that are more complex and built to higher standards. Developing next-generation talent is therefore another key enabler of the transition to the energy systems of the future.
CPT Drives and Power Public Company Limited (CPT), Thailand’s expert in fully integrated electrical and control system solutions, took part in “K-Engineering World Tour and Competency Challenge 2026,” organised by the School of Engineering at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), one of the country’s foremost institutions in science and technology. CPT joined as a supporting organisation from the industry sector, exhibiting alongside leading engineering and energy organisations to introduce high school students and young people from across the country to career paths in electrical engineering.
Throughout the event, CPT’s engineers were on hand to talk with participants about their experience working on the electrical and control systems used in industrial facilities and large-scale energy projects, as well as about engineering careers and opportunities for internships and cooperative education, so that young people could see more clearly how what they learn in the classroom carries over into working life.
For CPT, talent is the foundation on which future innovation is built. The Company stands ready to move forward together with the new generation of engineers — the driving force that will continue to elevate Thailand’s energy industry.
