Government policy direction to increase the share of renewable energy in Thailand's power system is driving a more concrete transition across the country's energy sector. Solar Farm projects have thus become a key driver of infrastructure powering this transition, creating demand for electrical and control systems built to standards capable of connecting safely and reliably to the power grid.
CPT Drives and Power Public Company Limited (CPT) welcomed a delegation of executives and engineers from Ratch Pathana Energy Public Company Limited (Ratch Pathana Energy) — one of Thailand's leading energy companies — for a factory visit and discussion of potential collaboration on a Solar Farm project. The delegation was received by Mr. Chaiyot Piyawannarat, Senior Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Monchai Thunthanase, Managing Director of Sales and Engineering, who presented CPT's capabilities and world-class operating standards as an expert in fully integrated electrical and control system solutions for energy and large-scale industrial projects nationwide.
CPT's engineering team shared insights on products and solutions covering the full scope of Solar Farm project requirements including Substation, LV/MV Switchgear, AC Combiner, and Power Quality solutions for managing Power Factor and harmonics arising from solar power generation to fully meet regulatory standards — as well as CPT's readiness to support Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for project energy management, all of which are key to the stability, safety, and efficiency of long-term grid connection. The delegation also toured CPT's manufacturing, assembly, and testing facilities, and experienced various live technology demonstrations at the CPT Demonstration Center.
This engagement reflects CPT's readiness to support renewable energy projects with world-class standards and reinforces the company's capability to support the growing scale of energy infrastructure both domestically and internationally — in line with the direction of Thailand's energy policy to drive the nation toward a sustainable clean-energy future.
